OUR VALUES

a foundation in

American Craftsmanship

Historic Roots
Craft & Forge was born from Colonial Williamsburg, where craftsmanship remains a living tradition. Every day, master artisans and apprentices research, practice, and teach centuries-old trades, from weaving and blacksmithing to cabinetmaking and bookbinding, keeping these traditions alive through craftsmanship and public engagement.

That living tradition inspires every collaboration we pursue, connecting today's artisans, designers, and brands with one of America's richest traditions of craftsmanship to create products with enduring beauty, purpose, and story.

Social Impact
At the heart of Craft & Forge is a desire to support emerging and established talent and to help build a new appreciation of craft in the 21st century. All sales of products support the preservation, research, and educational programs of
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
